The software that manages interlibrary loans is called ILLiad. The first time you use ILLiad, you register to create your profile.
During registration, you will be asked to input your library card number and a password. You will use this library card number and password when signing on to the ILLiad system in the future.
We recommend that you use the same password that you use for your library account.
Please remember that your ILLiad account is completely independent of your library account. If you change anything about your library account (card number, password, email address, etc.) it will have no effect on your ILLiad account.
If you think you have already created an ILLiad profile in the past with a former library card number, please contact the Interlibrary Loan department.
WARNING CONCERNING COPYRIGHT RESTRICTIONS
The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of articles or other reproductions of copyrighted materials.
Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish an article or other reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that
the article or reproduction is not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research". If a user makes a request for, or later uses, an article
or reproduction for purposes in excess of "fair use", that user may be liable for copyright infringement.
This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.
